My task was to select an intangible concept, mood, or aesthetic and express it purely through visual design. I chose to explore the emotional complexity of human–AI interaction, using a dystopian lens to reflect themes of digital intimacy, control, and disconnect. This project allowed me to push beyond function and focus on design as emotional expression.

How Did This Make Me a Better Designer?
A key challenge was capturing the tension between humans and AI in a way that felt visceral yet abstract. Balancing typography, layout, and texture to evoke a sense of disconnection and intimacy taught me how to use visual language to express complex, intangible themes. This project pushed me to trust my creative instincts and let narrative and emotion guide the design process, making me a better storyteller.
